Carl Jones, founder and inventor of Bleulab, has been designing for more than 10 years. He discovered a double-faced fabric during a trip to China in 2009 and brought it back to the United States to begin testing various washes and treatments. Bleulab denim breaks the mold of one-dimensional thinking. He has created a two-way jean that can take you from day-to-night in the blink of an eye. The jeans’ design uses a double-headed tack button and a reversible zipper with five pockets featured on either side to achieve two distinctive looks per pair. Using innovative design concepts, extensive fabric testing, construction research, and wash experimentation, Jones found the perfect combination of fashion and function. Designed for today's woman - an adventurer who is constantly in motion - the styles are named with that in mind: shortcut, paved, curve, rotate, detour and interhoodie. It's about embracing those parts of her journey. Instead of packing six pairs of jeans, you can pack three. |
