Josh Goot, born in Sydney in 1980, is one of Australia’s most influential and internationally significant designers. After attending Moriah College in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs, he began the Bachelor of Media Art & Production at Sydney’s University of Technology in 1999. Later that year, while spending time in New York, Goot decided that his interest in media and communication would manifest through fashion design.

In 2004 he began his design activity and presented his first collection in 2005. His designs, with clever concepts, clean aesthetic and the future smart ideology, surprised and impressed the Australian fashion industry.
